04.01.16 | Life Changing

I’ve been a little quiet on social media lately…are you wondering why?!  My husband and I welcomed a sweet baby boy into our lives just before Christmas.  I’m sure you can imagine how quickly everything changed in the blink of an eye–literally!

We recently headed back to St. Louis to introduce our ‘Little Dude’ to our family + friends. The outpouring of love we have received has been overwhelming… We are the luckiest parents in the world.

This is the “Meet + Greet” invitation I created to suit our style…and it’s music-themed, of course!

11.26.15 | Two Turkeys

Happy Thanksgiving all!

You may remember the gender reveal scratch-off cards I recently featured.  Well…the little guys arrived into this world on September 5th!

A few weeks later, I went home to St. Louis to meet my newborn twin nephews, Milo + Angelo.  I even had the chance to witness {and help out a little} at their first photo session with Tracey from Love and Life Photography!  They were both troopers, even though they pooped in baskets, peed on me multiple times and squawked a little.  They’re babies–what do you expect!?

Anyways, I designed this precious {semi-biased} birth announcement for my sister.

On the back of the announcement we left extra blank space to write a ‘thank you’ note to anyone who sent gifts after the boys were born!

And just because I can…here’s another fav from their first photo shoot!

11.10.15 | Cheers to 50 Years!

As we sat at dinner on a ship in the middle of the Adriatic Sea, Tess was telling me about her parents’ upcoming 50th anniversary party.  She was looking for an invitation design that would incorporate their prom picture…yet she was hesitant to mail this special photograph off to some design company across the country.  As she told me more about her concept, I loved the idea and wanted to be a part of bringing her vision to life.

Shortly after our trip, she emailed the image and I worked my *magic* to increase the quality of the photograph.  I’m not going to lie–I was a little worried the resolution wouldn’t improve, but thankfully it did.

I hope these two enjoyed celebrating their love with family and friends!

10.29.15 | Do You.

The urban dictionary states that the phrase “do you” means:

1. acting in a way that satisfies you, not caring about what others think
2. following your heartDena + Jim did just that when they surprised their family and friends with an elopement announcement on August 20th!  A formal ceremony was not their style, so instead they snuck away to Denver, Colorado and got married!

Shortly after their return, Dena reached out to me to design their ‘Wedding Announcement + Celebration” invitation.  Last weekend they celebrated with family and friends, Wisconsin-style–wearing Badgers apparel.

Congrats again Dena + Jim!
